 reopeningWe are now in Phase 2 of our 2021 Reopening Plan. Below is a list of services that will reopen to the public May-June. Online program registration now open.

Additional recreation centers are now open with limited programs. Registration is now open!

Here's what you need to know before you go: 

  1. Rec-goers must register for a time slot before each visit. 
  2. Spaces are limited and are available based on current COVID guidelines.
  3. Onsite registration is subject to availability to fill any last-minute cancellations.

Outdoor Recreation

Weekday guided bike tours return on Wednesday, May 5. Online registration is required.

Carrie Murray Nature Center

Now, offers a variety of spring/summer nature programming for kids. Online registration is required.

  • Summer Nature Camp sessions run July 19-23 and August 9-13
  • Weekdays, Forest Pre-School
  • Tuesday, join staff for Mother Nature Story Time
  • Wednesdays, don’t miss the Outdoor Discovery program for elementary-age kids
  • Saturdays, join staff for Live Feeding Time with Animals

Pools - 2021 Season May 29 – Sept 6

This season, eleven outdoor pools will reopen on May 29. Indoor pools are currently open. Online registration is required before you arrive. Registration opens May 24!

Time Slots

Swimming will be allowed in 90-minute time slots and participants must register in advance.  If capacity is not reached, the pool staff will accept walk-up registration after a 15-minute grace period. Only open-swim sessions will be permitted.

Big Splash

Our annual summer pool season kick-off event Big Splash will return this summer at Roosevelt Pool on June 5. Attendance will be limited. Registration is required.


Permits

BCRP Permits office will begin accepting pavilion, programming, vending and wedding permit applications beginning on May 18, for permitted events listed to begin June 1 and beyond. All permits are at 50% capacity per permit and space, not to exceed 125 people (whichever is less). We will reopen on May 18 to begin accepting these applications online and by email: parkpermits@baltimorecity.gov .


Rawlings Conservatory

Expanded capacity and tickets are now available. Rawlings Conservatory will shift to summer hours on May 12. Online registration is still required.  

Summer Hours: Tuesday-Sunday from 8AM-8PM.
