Camp Baltimore 2020!
Baltimore City Recreation and Parks’ CAMP BALTIMORE offers a variety of affordable and enriching summer camp options. Camp Baltimore 2020 participants will discover the eight continents through our Summer of STEAM (Sports, Travel, Education, Adventure and Music). Campers can look forward to a summer experience including academic enrichment, field trips, nature outings, sports and swimming.

We have a total of 43 campsites for Camp Baltimore, registration is available online or in-person on March 14. Camps fill up fast so some locations may be to capacity the day registration opens. Participants can still be added to the waitlist for any one of these camp locations. See the full list of campsites here.

Please submit your documents as soon a possible. In order to register, you must also have the camp registration fees at the time of registration.

Important things to remember:
During registration, the parent should sign off on the camp waiver and the code of conduct. Upon turning in the attached forms you will be asked to present proof of residency and a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Acceptable proof of residency may be in the form of a utility bill, bank statement, driver’s license, income tax return, deed or rental agreement, proof of unemployment benefits, social security income, proof of guardianship or birth certificate.
Failure to return the completed forms with proof of residency in the 72 hours after registration will result in the removal of the participant from all camp activities (including trips) without a refund for the camp registration fee.
All registrants who intend to have their children participate in field trips WILL be required to submit a field trip deposit ($25 per child) at the time of registration. All who come to register in person should ensure that they have the registration fee and trip deposit present at the time of registration. Registrants will then have until June 5th to pay the remaining balance.
Camp is eight-weeks long and runs from June 22 to August 14, 2020
- Camp Baltimore is Closed Friday, July 3
- The Rectravaganza is: July 24
- Camp starts at 7:30AM and ends at 5:30PM Monday- Friday
- ALL campers must be in by 9AM (unless pre-approved appointments)
- From 7:30AM to 9AM, DROP-IN for registered campers – no ratio required
- Baltimore City residences
- Registration (non-refundable) $15 per child
- Summer Camp Trip Deposit (non-refundable) $25 per child
- Activities & Trips $175 per child ($150 after deposit)
- Non- Baltimore City residences
- Registration and trips - $475 per child
Activities and trips are once a week during camp days. Parents can opt-out of these paid trips but are responsible for finding alternative accommodations for their child on trip days.
All Camp Fees are payable by credit card, cashier’s check or money orders
Registration is NOT complete with all fees paid and documentation submitted.
Parents/Guardians have 2 business days from the day of initial registration (In-person and online) to bring in ALL required paperwork and fees or their children will be placed on the waitlist and the next person on the waitlist will be pulled onto the roster.
- Registration fees and trip deposits are non-refundable
- After the first week, and if any trip was attended- Field Trip fees are non-refundable
- Field trip fees must be paid in full by June 5, 2020
Campers will be dropped if: Campers miss 5 consecutive days without prior authorization or 10 random absences.
A camper on the waiting list will be added to the camp roster (if they have completed registration) whenever a camper is dropped.
