We’re Back this Summer with multiple Camp Options!

For eight weeks, our campers enjoy swimming, games, nature exploration, STEM activations, pick-up sports, crafts and more at our recreation centers, parks and facilities.  Kids can get excited for a summer packed with fun. Need assistance registering online? You can go to any of our recreation centers to utilize computer and internet access to register. Our staff is onsite to assist with any registration questions. This year’s process is paperless and cashless.

    Baltimore City Recreation and Parks’ Camp Baltimore offers a variety of affordable and enriching summer camp activities at 20 locations! Campers can look forward to a summer filled with enrichment, field trips, nature outings, sports and swimming. The camp will have 7 total swim days and an additional 7 field trip days. The camps will feature personal development and enrichment programming presented by local community partners.

    Late fee implemented at 5:45 pm. 

    The cost to participate is $225 for residents/$450 for non-residents

    Bmore Summer Fun -

    Summer is here! The B’More Summer Fun program is a program for youth ages 5 to 12 and is hosted at 6 sites citywide. Kids can get excited for games, nature exploration, STEM activations, pick-up sports, crafts and more. The Summer Fun program will have 7 total swim days but please note, there are limited field trips associated with this program. 

    Late fee implemented at 3:45 pm. 

    The cost to participate is $75 for residents/$150 for non-residents.

    BCRP Travel Camp 

    • Date: Monday-Friday, June 23rd – August 13th
    • Time: 8:30AM - 5:30PM
    • Ages: 5-14

    BCRP's Traveling Camp is the perfect balance between summer fun and education. This camp allows kids to experience the broad field of travel. Your child will work alongside staff to discover the globe and learn how to be prepared for your next trip. This program has a total of 7 swim trips and 3 fieldtrips per week.

    The cost to participate is $325 for residents/$500 for non-residents

    Outdoor Recreation Exploration - 

    • Date: Monday-Friday, July 21st – July 25th; August 11th- 15th
    • Time: 8:30AM-4:30PM 
    • Ages: 7-13 

    Let’s get outdoors and enjoy some summer fun with Baltimore City Recreation and Parks! Participants will spend each day with a new outdoor activity at different parks across the city, accompanied by knowledgeable staff members that will provide full instruction. These activities are open to all skill levels, and opportunities include fishing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, stand-up paddleboarding, and disc golf! Please note that camp will be cancelled for the day in the event of inclement weather.

    Late fee implemented at 4:45 pm.

    The cost of each camp session is $75 per week for city residents/$150 per week for non-city residents.

    Specialty camps offer themed camps from sports to leadership. Check out the camp descriptions below to find the best fit for your camper. 

    Inclusion Camp - 

    • Date: Monday-Friday, June 23rd – August 13th
    • Time: 8:30AM-5:30PM 
    • Ages: 5-13 

    This camp allows youth with disabilities to participate in recreation, social, educational and developmental opportunities with their peers without disabilities.  The camp will have 7 total swim days and an additional 7 field trip days.

    Late fee implemented at 5:45 pm.

    The cost of each camp session is $225 for city residents/$450 non-city residents.

      Sports & Fitness Summer Camp - 

      • Date: Monday-Friday, June 23rd - August 13th
      • Time: 8:30AM - 4:00PM
      • Ages: 8-15 

      Sports & Fitness Summer Camp hosted at William J. Myers Soccer Pavilion is a healthy mix of sports curriculums and fitness for eight weeks. Participants have a sport of the week and learn the fundamentals for that sport while competing in fun activities throughout the week. Sports & Fitness Camp participants also have the opportunity to enjoy field trips, guest speakers, video games, swimming, STEM activities, and more!

      The cost of each camp session is $100 per week for city residents/$200 per week for non-city residents.

      Swim & Fitness Camp - 

      • Date: Monday-Friday, June 23rd – August 13th
      • Time: 8:30AM-4:00PM 
      • Ages: 8-14 

      Each day comes with the perfect number of activities, aquatic/fitness workouts and fun. Youth will learn how to swim, build endurance (on land and in the pool) and improve their swimming skills from our experienced instructors, all while making new friends in a structured and safe aquatic environment.

      The cost of each camp session is $300 for city residents/$200 for non-city residents.

      Madison Square Summer Basketball Camp  - 

      • Date: Monday-Friday, June 23rd - August 13th
      • Time: 8:30AM - 3:30PM
      • Ages:  7-13 

      This basketball camp focuses on shooting, dribbling, passing, defensive skills and other basketball fundamentals. Full instruction and review of basketball rules and regulations are covered, as well as detailed breakdowns of offensive sets, defensive sets and floor spacing. Other topics covered include basketball history, team-building activities, aerobic workouts, resistance training, games and more. 

      The cost to participate is $225 for city residents/$450 for non-city residents.

       All-Star Tennis Camp - 

      • Date: June 23rd - August 13th
      • Time: 8:30AM - 5:30PM
      • Ages: 7-14 

      All-Star Tennis Camp is an 8-week camp focused on teaching the fundamentals of tennis to learners of all skill levels and is packed with additional fun activities. The camp is staffed with knowledgeable tennis instructors with many years of experience in teaching youth.

      The cost to participate is $100 per week for city residents/$200 per week for non-city residents.

      Circuit Threads: E-Textile Explorations Camp (STEM) -

      • Date: June 23rd - June 27th
      • Time: 9:00AM - 4:30PM
      • Ages: 9-14 

      This program introduces participants to the exciting world of electronic textiles (eTextiles) through hands-on projects that combine technology and crafting. Students will create light-up bracelets and talking stuffed bears, learning the fundamentals of conductive materials, circuit design, and programming. By integrating technology into fabric, students will develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge, all while engaging in a fun and interactive learning experience. Late fee implemented at 4:45 pm.

      The cost to participate is $30 for city residents/$50 for non-city residents.

      Python Coding Camp: Classic Snake Game (STEM) -

      • Date: August 4th - August 8th
      • Time: 9:00AM - 4:30PM
      • Ages: 11-15

      This one-week coding camp introduces students ages 11-15 to Python programming and game development fundamentals by building the classic Snake game using Python and the Pygame library. Through structured lessons and coding sessions, participants will learn the basics of Python, understand game logic, and gain hands-on experience with Pygame’s tools. By the end of the week, students will have a playable game and a foundational understanding of coding and game design concepts. This camp is perfect for those interested in programming, with no prior Python experience required. Late fee implemented at 4:45 pm.

      The cost to participate is $30 for city residents/$50 for non-city residents.

      LEGO Education Camp: SPIKE Essential Kits (STEM) -

      • Date: August 11th - August 15th
      • Time: 9:00AM - 4:30PM
      • Ages: 8-12

      LEGO Education Camp introduces students aged 8-12 to the fundamentals of engineering, coding, and robotics using LEGO SPIKE Essential kits. The camp combines creativity with problem-solving and hands-on learning, encouraging participants to design, build, and program their own robotic creations. Late fee implemented at 4:45 pm.

      The cost to participate is $10 for city residents/$30 for non-city residents.

      Fun For All Camp -

      • Dates: Monday-Friday, June 23rd – August 13th
      • Time: 8:30AM-5:30PM 
      • Ages: 7-14 

      Parents can register youth for daily activities and programs. Participants can get excited for games, STEM activities, gaming opportunities, pick-up sports, crafts and more. Please note, there are limited field trips associated with this program and all participants must preregister.

      The cost to participate is FREE /$100 for non-city residents.

      BCRP Camp Cancelation/Refund Policy 


      •    Participants who submit a withdrawal notification prior to the close of business on Friday, June 13, 2025 are eligible to receive a full refund of the camp registration fee minus an administrative fee of $20
      •    Participants who submit a withdrawal notification after the close of business on Friday, June 13, 2025 are eligible to receive a pro-rated by week refund of the camp registration fee minus an administrative fee of $20
      •    Participants who are dismissed from camp due to a violation of the Participant Code of Conduct are not eligible to receive a refund of the camp registration fee.
