Private Events Not Open to the General Public

Applications must be received 30 days prior to event date. Non-refundable application fee: $35. Park Impact Fees and Pavilion fees vary by location.

Permits for Park Events Open to the General Public

Effective, January  2, 2015, all permit applications for Special Events on park property that are open to the general public (ex., Festivals, Concerts, Races, etc.) must be submitted in person to the Department of Transportation Permits Office, 200 N. Holliday Street, 1st floor, at least six to eight weeks in advance of your event date.

A non-refundable $75 application fee is required at the time of application.  Event impact fees will also be assessed based upon the location chosen and the size of your event.   A Security Deposit may also be charged based upon your event set up.

The event site plan, run/walk route, flyer or promotional piece, and security plan must be included with your application.

Inner Harbor

For all events to be held at Inner Harbor venues (Public or Private).

Applications must be received at least six to eight weeks in advance of event date.  Non refundable application fee of $75.  Event impact fees vary according to location and size of event.

Private Events Inner Harbor(Wedding Ceremonies, Picnics, etc.)

Private events may be held at the Kaufman Pavilion and West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor.  Short ceremonies may be held on portions of the Inner Harbor Promenade.  These events must be reviewed by the Inner Harbor Review Group and will be coordinated with the Waterfront Partnership.  There may be additional management fees required for your private event once your application has been reviewed by the Recreation and Parks Permits Office and the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore.
