MIMI DIPIETRO SKATING CENTER

The Dominic “Mimi” DiPietro Family Skating Center, owned and operated by Baltimore City Recreation and Parks, features public ice-skating sessions, ice hockey, broomball, and sled hockey from October until March.  Located at 200 S Linwood Avenue in scenic Patterson Park, the rink hosts many of Baltimore’s youth and amateur hockey teams, as well as seasonal special events. The center is also home to the Baltimore Blizzard women’s hockey.

The NHL regulation-size rink measuring 200-by-85 feet is equipped with a warm-up room, fireplace, concession stand and skate shop, which makes this facility the perfect venue for private parties and group rentals.

During this time, staff will ask skaters to clear the ice, while an ice-cut takes place. A skate guard may not always be on duty, especially during our smaller, weekday sessions.    As always, skaters participate at their own risk.

This public session provides the perfect opportunity for hockey players of all ages to focus on skill development. This public session is for ice hockey only. Sessions are created for hockey players to enjoy ice time on the rink with their stick.
